Some AFSFA chapters are associated with active duty and reserve units with chapter members participating or attending events. Some of those are basic gatherings like commanders call, etc. where wearing an items with an AFSFA logo is appropriate. What about more formal or solemn occasions such as formal dinners, awards ceremonies, change of command, funerals, etc.

Do you maintain a set of dress blues and/or a mess dress and wear when appropriate?

Jim - I have only attended 2 military funerals and because I cannot (honestly) fit into the uniform and look good I elected to wear a civilian suit. Others I know elected the same so as not to look out-of-place. Having said that - if you can look good and be within regs (or pretty close) wearing a "Class A" uniform (as we used to call it) is most appropriate.
