 Col (Ret) Harris Jr., died Monday, March 1, 2010, following an extended illness.

Colonel Harris was born July 6, 1922, in Ozark, Arizona. He joined the Army Air Corps during World War II and flew cargo planes. Following the war, he served in numerous duty stations including flying supplies to military outposts above the Arctic Circle. He served as chief of security police for Tactical Air Command at Langley Air Force Base, Virginia.

TSgt (Ret) Charles L. Buckner, an AFSFA Founding Member, passed away Wednesday, February 17 in Santee, California.

Charles W. Canny, of Coreyton, Iowa, died November 2008. He had been an AFSFA member for five years.

CMSgt (USAF Ret) T.J. Collins, age 68, passed away on Thursday, February 18, at his home in Belleville, Illinois, after a long battle with prostate cancer.   TJ, born and raised in Mississippi, served 30 years in the Air Force, including duties as the security police inspector on the  “MAC IG” and as a senior staff NCO on the “MAC SP” staff in the 1980s.  A quiet person, TJ was instrumental in improving aircraft and nuclear security at MAC, which at the time included Manzano Mountain WSA at Kirtland AFB, New Mexico.   

Cathy Housley who was married to Frank Housley, a former Security Policeman and member of the PACAF Honor Guard at Hickam AFB during the 70s.  Frank did not retire from the Air Force but received his discharge after about eight years. Frank passed away in March 2008.  Cathy, also a member of the Air Force, was a Traffic Passenger Specialist at the MAC Terminal at Hickam AFB during their time in Hawaii. She also took her discharge in lieu of an Air Force career. They returned to Akron, Ohio, where they both resided until their deaths.
